The National Flight Academy located on NAS Pensacola provides a fully immersive, 7-day experience in aircraft carrier and Naval aviation operations. Students are selected from Grades 7-11 and together with their squadronmates, compete alongside other squadrons using cutting-edge flight simulation technology to accomplish their missions.
One of the mission objectives of the Pensacola Chapter of the US Naval Academy Alumni Association is to support recruiting, informing, encouraging and assisting outstanding, qualified young men and women in the NW Florida area to pursue careers as officers in the Navy and Marine Corps through attendance at the Naval Academy. To that end, each year the chapter raises money to assist a limited number of potential candidates for the Naval Academy to attend the National Flight Academy
